First Event of the Year!

Our first event of 2024 will be on March 2 at Urban Air in Frisco. This event is open to 40 jumpers (watching is free) and we have the ENTIRE place to ourselves from 9-10am. This will include ALL attractions (zip line, climbing wall, ropes course), a pair of jump socks and water. Click HERE to register early because space is limited!

Autism Adventures is a non-profit organization that hosts local community events to promote social skill development, networking opportunities and ongoing support for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) across their lifespan.

We offer several opportunities to participate in social events throughout the year that include surfing, bowling, fishing, stand up paddleboarding, movies, karate, gymnastics, arts and crafts, and so much more.

Stronger Together

We believe there is a need for individuals with disabilities to experience new things in a safe, welcoming environment. We encourage families to participate in lifelong activities that can be continued long after our events are done. Our monthly events are free or at a largely discounted rate. Therefore, ongoing fundraising is necessary to make these events and opportunities happen.

We hope through our events that members will try new activities, make new friends, and create a network of social supports and shared resources.

OUR PAST BOWLING EVENT

From 2-4pm on September 17, we had over 90 bowlers at Bowlero in Denton. Those who participated bowled for two hours and got to enjoy pizza and drinks. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year at this annual bowling event!

OUR MOST RECENT EVENT
February 12, 2023

From 3-5pm on February 12, participants danced to music provided by DJ Door. Pizza was provided by Pizza Hut and drinks by HTeaO in Providence Village. Bounce houses, face painting and raffle prizes kept everyone entertained!

Autism Adventures was created for individuals of all ages to develop and maintain social bonds for those with and without disabilities. We plan our events offer a safe, caring, patient place to try new things and meet new people.
